Here at Uxabay, challenges are part of our daily lives, so when we were asked to design and build from scratch the website for sushi chef John Kontotasio’s new eatery, we knew it would be an exciting experience for our team.
Based in Athens, the restaurant offers excellent dishes from Japanese cuisine and Bblack Angus steaks from selected farms in Argentina which, combined with the eclectic interior of the restaurant, offer an exciting dining experience full of flavors and colors.
The goal of the project was to bring this vibrant aesthetic to the website design, truly capturing the essence of the company and the vibe of the online space.
But beyond that, the site had to be multilingual, optimized for strong search/localization performance, and built using a state-of-the-art framework all tied into a flexible content management system.
In the beginning we designed and developed the restaurant website incorporating the aesthetics of the hall into its design. We put a lot of emphasis on the presentation of the dishes so as to render all the techniques in their preparation and all the variety of materials used.
We used a professional photographer to best capture the dishes and space, and a professional videographer to create a corporate video.
The modern and minimalist design highlights both the space and the tastes. We have integrated a number of useful applications to ensure that the site meets all the specifications that were set
We conducted extensive and in-depth keyword research on the brand and the services it provides while also doing extensive research on the competition. We have optimized the website to achieve the highest possible ranking on the search pages for selected keywords so that the restaurant can be easily found.
With a complex and integrated performance marketing strategy and the use of Google Business Profile we managed to create a unique and instantly recognizable online presence for the company.
